Safari Overview

You will experience Tanzania’s wildlife in the midst of some of the most diverse landscapes in your safari; monkeys in the forest, lions in trees, elephants and a huge variety of animals inside a collapsed volcano.

Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

The start of your Tanzania luxury safari begins in Arusha where by After breakfast, your safari guide will collect you from your accommodation and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park. Manyara is a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. The park’s namesake is a shallow, salt lake. It covers a large area of the park, flooding and drying with the seasons and is home to thousands of flamingos and over 500 other bird species.
On your exploration of the park you will see monkeys, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains, but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs.
After a full day in the Park, you will drive to your accommodation, where you will be able to relax and enjoy dinner.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you will drive towards the fertile crater highlands where the farmers grow wheat, corn and coffee. At midday you will reach the plains of the Serengeti National Park, the largest park in Tanzania. The Serengeti has a diversity of landscapes including short grass plains, savanna, thick bush, swamps and lakes and it is famous for the yearly wildebeest migration when hundred thousands of wildebeest and zebras trek to find fresh grass and water After you had your lunch at the picnic site you will continue with your afternoon game drive.

Serengeti mean ‘endless plains’ in swahili and this 6,900 sq. mile (18,000 sq. km) park is inhabited by more than 2 million large animals including more than a million wildebeest. Large predators including lions, cheetahs, and hyenas are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrate through the park.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast you will head out for an en route game drive through the Serengeti. You might be able to spot the “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – before embarking on your journey to Ngorongoro Crater. The animals roam freely through the unfenced reserves offering you an uninterrupted game viewing experience. Arriving at the edge of the crater you will have your first glimpse of what awaits you the following day – glistening streams, open grassland and an infinite number of animals. You will spend the night at a lodge near to the Crater Rim.

Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire - Arusha

Marking the end of your Tanzania luxury safari,this day is will be full of activities you will not leave very early in the morning you will leave with your lunch box. In the afternoon you will visit the Iraqw tribe cultural center in Karatu to learn how the tribe protected their cattle from Maasai incursions using underground settlements.

Tarangire is also the park that can boast your safari experience being home to Tanzania’s largest population of African elephants and giant baobab trees dot the landscape of the Tarangire National Park as we he Tarangire River, that meanders through the park attracts an abundance of wildlife, from elephants, lions and leopards.
